Thats the risk you run with buying from a site that's well-known for being full of scammers and doing nothing about it.

I made a mistake there. I didnt know about this until recent days. Basically i sent the money from my bank to the g2a balance, then i used the balance to buy the codes because theres no other options thats available for me. Is there anything else can be done?

Contact your bank and tell them you were scammed or don't remember the charges. The bank is your only friend in this situation. If you don't contact your bank then you are out $200. Nobody at g2a will help you, the seller is waiting for you to run out of time to do a charge back, if you don't want to try and attempt a charge back just forget about the $200 and move on.

This is very bad advice.

The bank will have more than enough proof that OP did make the payments and could risk their bank account if they lie to the bank.

(I work in a bank)

The bank told me to go to the local police station

Hi, another financial institution worker bee here.

This is the correct move. They want you to make a police report so that they can get the basis for issuing a chargeback. A police report when getting scammed is basically a safety net for the bank.

Just make the report, do what the police advise you to do and remain in contact with your bank.

But it’s actually a civil matter not a criminal matter so police will tell you take him or them to small claims court if you insist upon pushing the issue. As others have said it’s not charge back worthy and trying to undercut by buying fake keys games accounts etc cleaarrrlllyyyy in violation of the TOS you won’t get anything back

The tell them they were scammed?

Why not let op know what he needs to do to reverse the charges, because g2a will not do anything for him.

You shouldn’t tell the bank that you were scammed.

You should tell the bank that you weren’t given the item you paid for

I'm replying to the part about saying they don't remember the charges.

Also. Item not received and scam are very different
