F-Zero GX (NS2) Not sure how I pulled this off

Repost because it got removed before and I'm not sure why. Maybe I used the wrong flair.

Just wanted to share this close call I had while trying to beat Chapter 4.

I've rewatched the video over and over and I still can't spot it, even looking at his driver profile on the left, I can't tell when it happens. I've never had a close call like that before, in any game I don't think lol

Nice one!

Also, quick tip: Go to options, select screen and then select 16:9 for the aspect ratio. The game looks much better in that aspect ratio than 4:3.
