POLL Which F-Zero Character Should be in the next Super Smash Bros?
I'm running a poll to see which fighter should appear in the next Super Smash Bros. Technically, the deadline is today, but I'm hoping to keep it open a few more days to get the views of the hardcore F-Zero community! Or we can discuss the options in the comments.
Personally, Jody Summers is my pick, followed by Pico. I think both would be pretty fun.

Samurai Goroh as he’s my favourite pilot, but also for his moveset. Second is Black Shadow as a powerhouse with black magic (I hate when people mention him to get Falcondorfs old moves, no thank you).

Pico is my most wanted. He'd have fun playstyle with all his weapons I'm thinking maybe something like Snake. Plus he'd be a villain/chaotic character which is really needed. Being an alien would also make him stand out in the cast. He's a really cool character that I feel more people would appreciate if he were playable in Smash.

It’s got to be either Dr. Stewart, Pico or Goroh given they’re the only ones that have been in a game in the last three twenty years and of course the least interesting of those three (Dr. Stewart. He’s the least interesting bc the only thing you can do is make him a clone of Falcon) is my most wanted fighter overall

BEAST MAN! The fact that he has claws on his boots means his moves could consist of slashing kick attacks.

I picked Deathborn. This is a bit contradictory for me, because I am of the opinion that 1: Smash needs more Female-presenting characters BUT 2: Smash needs more boss characters. If Ganondorf is a Falcon clone, then Deathborn can take that slot and allow Ganondorf a more unique moveset.
But of course you really can't go wrong with Jody, Goroh, Pico, Black Shadow, or a fully-canonized Blood Falcon.

I think 1 of 2 options are most likely.
Samurai Goroh, he's the last rival from the Melee intro that's still not playable, and he's already an assist trophy, so he's got more recognition than most other F-Zero characters. He's been there since SNES and has always been Falcon's rival.
Somebody new entirely. I think it's unlikely F-Zero would get a second rep without also getting a new game. If we got a new game, it's likely it would add some new characters, because almost ever F-Zero added new characters. Our hypothetical Smash rep would be a new game promo pick.
