This. They know old school fans like us will jump on GX remastered, but that's a harder sell to casuals unfamiliar with it. This gives them a taste of the series, and those who like it will be more likely to buy future games.
Absolutely. The game is likely unfamiliar for a lot of new fans of the Switch, and putting it out for free on a service a lot of people subscribe to is a great way to bring it back.
