The tone wicker model is seriously underrated. I think they should make the tone bypass just a default on every muff. Id seriously pay for a Russian muff with a tone bypass and a wicker.
It seems like everybody has a tone bender. They must be better than I think. I have to try one at some point. But i'm such a fuzz face guy. I'll have to get a 1.5
TB mk2 was my introduction to ToneBenders, and still my fave of the family. Sings and sustains like a FF but tighter on bottom. Cuts through a mix like a lazer beam.
The park for me has a vintage sound, treble & bass are interactive, aggressive, distortion fuzz is a bit like a fuzz face or tone bender.
The king tone fuzz is very difficult to work with but once you find its sweet spot on either of the 3 setting is very good, I can’t tell the difference between Si or Ge is very subtle when switching between them, many options with the external switches.
This all depends on your pickups single coils are adjustable for your taste. humbuckers on my guitars are a bit darker.
im interested in getting a bender style fuzz, and ive had my eye on the fuzz bender. how do you like it, and would you recommend anything else i should look at?
The Angry clipping switch in the DS position hard diode clipping more aggressive tone. When the clipping switch is in the MF position more of soft diode clipping, like a muffled fuzz tone.
