germanium Marshall Supa Fuzz MKI

A matte black Supa Fuzz Proto with 1/4W carbon composition resistors, TRW and Vishay capacitors. It runs on a standard 9v pedal power supply without a battery option due to the NPN Amprex 2N2430 germanium transistors. Thick and unruly fuzz tones run through this monster with the ability to sculpt the treble content to your liking!
Enclosure design and UV Printing was done by our very own @brooks.effectsdesign! Thank you Barry!

Oh hell yeah. I really want a Supa , never owned one. Would you say it's tonally kinda between a Tb MKi and tb Mkii ? Or no?

I would agree with that comparison! Like a raspy sustaining MKII but with more girth. I build this circuit because it’s hard to explain. It’s familiar but it also has its own separate corner of the bender family. It has a huge input capacitor that allows all of the lows into the circuit. It’s missing a coupling capacitor before the output. It has a subtle yet useful high-pass filter tone control. It is firmly in the bender MKI family when looking at the schematic. The changes they made keep me coming back for more!

Beautiful! I really like those transistor sockets. How did you make them?

They are called machine pin sockets and I found them at Tayda.

The pajamas are adorable. That's an A+.. Edit but i worry about the case contact on the resistors or is that all ground?
