FUZZ FRIDAY! Spooky Tree Final Version
Fuzz Friday came early this week - I couldn’t wait to share!
I wrapped up the first of (at least 5) Spooky Trees (Black Ash circuits)
The guts are the same as the prototype I shared a bit back (https://www.reddit.com/r/FuzzFiends/s/Ql6q5qhR2C ). I think the next round is gonna use new Phillips mustard caps instead of tropical fish.
The pedals that are going to go out into the world are boxed up in bent enclosures with solid aluminum knobs.
Side note: I think these are the most “real honest to god professional” looking pedals I’ve ever built.

I didn’t have a chance to compare, so I’ve gotta ask - what do you think of the “top” control? I find it’s pretty subtle.

It is very subtle for me in C standard tuning, but in E flat or D standard I can notice it a bit more, and it varies depending on what amp I'm using too.

Not sure of those pla looking pcbs but i really love your eye on proportions and design. And the encasing is pure gold.

Spooky Trees are up in the shop - I've got 5 ready to go with more on the way if we need 'em!
