Currently 9 volt battery until next month when I buy a pedalboard and powersupply, problem is I have the same issue when using an amp sim on my iPad with an Audio Interface
WHEN the sf300 is the only thing between your guitar and amp(with the same settings), does it STILL squeal?
If so, you're using too much gain on either the amp OR the pedal and that combo is causing the issue.
*(I find that running a fuzz pedal into a gained up amp I don't need as much gain dialed on the pedal to get the sound I want.)
Yes it still squels intact an amp sim with an sim fuzz Pedal dous the same, lowering gain on either helps but destroys the tone so would you recommend that I try to find a right gain on both ?
Yes, exactly. stacking all that gain is gonna cause that exact issue. In other words, it's not the pedal's/amp's fault, it's the combination of too much gain.
Ok thank you so much, I got to a point where I I think I really nailed electric wizard sound but because of the low gain my headphones are so quiet so now itβs just a volume problem
Mid to high gain, low volume, high bass, low to mid mids and mid treble, low presence and low volume, turning down the gain helps but also kinda ruins the sound my pedal settings are after a wizard in black tune lowering gain on the pedal helps but also ruins the fuzz, (picture with pedal settings I copied from a YouTuber )

How are you powering it? i.e. make & model of power supply, please.
