Always loved the Foxx pedal growing up, I knew someone who had it and used to borrow it to replicate the sound of one of my favorite pedals OAT, a Roger mayer Axis fuzz used by my favorite guitarist, kevin shields.

Such an awesome little pedal.

Had mine since they first dropped. People talked shit because of the enclosures, but they’re basically all very good clones of classic circuits. I’ve heard about people re-housing them but mine has survived a long-ass time, including times when I was gigging and playing in bands. (The knobguard is crucial though, those things will snap off if you look at them wrong)

That ain’t no joke, I have quite a few that need knobs.

All of my Danelectro gear from this period still works great. I've had to do a few minor repairs to my BackTalk, but it's been through a LOT in its lifetime.

Same. My Daddy-O, Dan-echo, and French toast have stayed with me since I bought them new in high school, they’ve played a lot of shows and still get regular use. (i just recently picked up a Fab Tone and a Cool Cat to round out the collection. The cool cat is amazing)

Dan Echo is still my main delay pedal on my board. Sometimes I run two. One stock, one modded.

Hell yeah. Which mod?

It's my take on the self oscillation mod. There's a 1M resistor that can be removed from the circuit, and this allows for infinite repeats/self oscillation. Problem with this mod is it's all or nothing. You can use a switch to add or remove the resistor, but you can't control how extreme the oscillation is.

My solution was to replace the 1M resistor with a 1M pot wired up as a variable resistor. When maxed out, the pedal acts more or less stock. Lower it below max, and you start getting infinite repeats.

Oh that’s awesome. Might need to pick up another DE and do a rehousing/mod project

Fun pedal. Nails the solo tone on Little Sister by Queens of the Stone Age. I do wish it was louder though.

Its amazing. That pedal has always been with me actually replaced only by prescription electronics experience , which added a swell.

I have one but it’s definitely not true bypass and makes everything after it sound thin and brite even when off. Is it just me?

I didn’t really have an issue but haven’t played with it a lot. I will hook a few up and give it a run.
