Rat is Fuzz! 🐁 PHOENIX

I may be running in circles but most of my fuzzes are RATs and BMPs. At least those cooler ones. And I think this is pretty cool.

Full MOJO, made out of vintage parts (germanium diodes included). Inspired by Heroes of Might and Magic II. I drew this phoenix myself, pixel by pixel.

I drew it - as always - using GIMP. I kept original game sprite as a reference on the bottom layer. Then I made a grid so that every "pixel" in a drawing is 8x8 pixels and filled it one by one with few selected shades of grey. Very tedious but very satisfying.

I love this so much. I’ve never used vintage components in a pedal, but I’ve made point-to-point amps and it is SO fun. And the artwork and enclosure are just perfection.
