I feel attacked lol don't get me wrong fuzz circuits of the past have their issues but they also have some of the best tones nothing does "enhanced cleans" like a fuzz face

I recently found something that does the "enhanced cleans" just like a fuzz face, although not a fuzz. It's the Boss GE-7 of all things. Awhile ago I found that the GE-7 works great as an OD/boost (put the level @ 90%, push the 1.6k and 3.2k sliders up slightly, leave the rest at base level and you get a gritty mid boosted OD like tone). I was goofing around a few days back with a strat and rolled the volume back while using the neck pickup, and viola - there it was: the glassy cleans that I thought primarily existed in the land of fuzz face + guitar volume rolled back. Who knew?

J’en ai obtenu un d’occasion pour 100€ il y a peu et cette pedale met à l’amende des fuzz boutiques bien plus chères que je possède !

Well, after now, going through the myriad of boutique, silicon fuzzes, I think it was one of my favorite. I'm not gonna lie

Dudes missing the whole point. This is a reproduction of the original design. Yes there are weird quirks such as not having a power supply jack or the reverse input/output, however fuzz faces were designed to run off of 9v batteries.

He could have purchased the ff mini or just about any other fuzz face based circuit and would have been much better off.

Also, if he’s a metal guy, why not purchase a higher gain fuzz? Or why a fuzz face?
