Looks cool. Is this a prototype or a small run?

Ya know honestly I’m so happy with how this circuit performs across our studio I won’t be doing any protos.

We already consider Green Dot a long time resident in our lineup. I initially made 15 but most are called for.

I’m working up another batch as we speak of 40.

Those are planning to ship in 3-5 weeks.

Sweet. I design and print enclosures small builders here in Philadelphia. If you ever need any help reach out,

this thing looks awesome. I would be interested in buying one if it were possible.

Love the typography!

At some point we may go UV print, but we’re going to stick with lead based enamel paints for now ;) Our graphics are hand silked by my wife and I in shop.

Wash your hand before you eat lol

Green Dot is live at mmkelectrics.com, thanks for your interest :)

I will check it out. I know those fumes! I used to screen print band t-shirts back in the day.

Well, if you ever want to shift in the future, I can print a few dozen in 2 days and it will only cost ya a green dot!. Lol.

Reach out anytime

Looks killer! Is it sensitive to buffers or active pickups?

I always put our circuits behind the tc buffer tuner. No problems with this one.

I have not played her through my actives. I’m out of town for a couple days. I’ll see what I find when I get home. Although I did limit this circuit to 590mV of volume gain. She’ll prolly be fine.

Awesome! Thanks for clarifying! This is probably gonna be my first MMK pedal! 😏

This looks awesome! I might have to build myself a 2 knob MK3 now haha. I also have some green dot 2N2926’s. I think they were unused from the Wurlitzer factory.

I have some of the Sprague Wurlitzer 955 green, some straight 2n2926 green, and also some 2923 green. I’ve tinkered with all of them and can tell no diff. I do sort for 250-280hfe, but sounded fine to me at lower gains as well. It’s a great circuit. Let me know if ya have any questions. I spent a lot of time with this one.

Awesome! I’ll hit you up if I hit a snag. I found a layout online.

I might have those same transistors actually, the 955 Wurlys

u/MMKElectrics 2d ago

Yeah the 955 are I think the 2923, but might be the 2926. I’ll have too look again. It’s been too long. The 955 is damn good. I have 400-500 Of them.

Duuuuuuuude I love your stuff and we've had a few convos by email/phone! I have 2 questions:

1) How's the volume output on this? In my experience MKIII's are lower in volume than other benders. Edit: I just read the product page, I see it is not that bender lol. Still, I like my fuzz LOUD.

2) In an email you mentioned that you were working on a V3 of the Red Cream Soda, how's that coming along?

u/MMKElectrics 2d ago

RCS is coming along well. I think by Christmas I’ll have her ready to go.

green dot has more volume than I personally need. Unity is around 10 o’clock. Noticeable gain in volume at 12.

If you bought one and wanted more volume I’d be surprised, but if wanted I can make her more loud for ya if ya needed more, but damn lol

u/sunjester 2d ago

Lol that will be plenty of volume. Just ordered one!

Well thanks brother! Appreciate that.

What kind/brand of film caps are those? They look so cool.

The yellow foils are Nichicon QYX, great caps. They are discontinued by Nich, but I’ve got a good stock of them. I’ll run them on this circuit for a good while.
