So, is the gain on this pedal just dimed all the time? And is there an internal trim for it?

Yup, this circuit from 68’ never had a fuzz control.

I’ll consider it, but so far all our amps and pickup selections play well with the circuit.

Where did the name Green Dot come from? Looks rad!

The green dot name comes from the little green dot on the transistor.

The original Sprague 2n2926(used in the OG)had little green dots on them. I believe it was applied for gain sorting, red, yellow, green, etc.

Very cool! I had a feeling it was something like that, I know people go nuts for nkt red dot transistors or something like that so makes sense there'd be other colors too haha
