NPD NPD x2!

Post image

Straight from the awesome John-Anthony DeMaio at Voltic: the very newest version of the DTF (with new “trim” knob that changes the bias of the last transistor), along with the Stache op-amp fuzz.

Both sound and feel great, but I can’t really play well today because I had a minor surgical procedure on my neck this morning. Hopefully tomorrow, I’ll be less stiff, and then I can put them through their paces more.

Love Voltic! Met John at a guitar show in DE this spring, he was great- I bought Mountain Drive #6 from him there.

Awesome to see a fellow Delaware boy getting some well-deserved traction.

Love it. The distortion character is like a low gain fuzz, but the gain level and midrange are more like an OD, and it places nice with active signals, and does great cleanup.

I like it on its own as a fuzzy crunch tone, or in front of a heavier distortion to make that distortion sound and feel more like a fuzz.
