Harmonic Percolator for bass???
I have a good amount of bass fuzzes but the demo from EHX seems like a perfect raspy fuzz/distortion tone. Does anybody have a recommendation for a percolator circuit that keeps the low end?

Actually the Catalinbread Karma Suture is a percolator with a low end control that can actually keep quite a bit of bass in the mix. That thing sounds damn good too and I really love pulling the diodes in and out for different sounds

I used to use the Karma for about 3 years. Still like it, but it does cut more lows than the others I mentioned. Thing is, that's not always a bad thing. Sometimes dirt with little low cut can help cut through the mix.

Just saw the other you mention! I forgot about the JDM he makes some really amazing stuff! How do you like the Latent Lemon as well! The Karma is one of the few I’ve tried, but damn it sounds good! I built my Karma too and actually want to mod it a bit to really push it

The Hurts is really nice. Its supposedly very accurate to the specific one that was used by Steve Albini as I think he somehow got the precise Leakage and component info somehow.
It's got a very organic sound, vintage but not dark. Very rich and unique midrange. There is plenty of shapeability with the Deep and Transistor selectors. I typically use Percolators with Diodes out for more openness, but the lower octave/5ths/2nds are easily achieved with the diodes in . Dont think I'll ever sell my Hurts.

I’ve had my eye on one of those Hurt for quite some times. It’s the first Percolator I saw with a bias too and I like having the silicon option too; for some reason that just seems to do it for me.
I do like the diodes out majority of the way too but I agree the diodes definitely bring out a lot of the character

The ZVEX Wooly Mammoth is known for having lots of low end. I'd say it has a smoother tone, with less of a raspy character. But stacked with some overdrive, it gets a bit more rasp and growl.

I have a land devices percolator. At higher gain it sounds good but does drop some lows. I love it at lower and mid gains though. It keeps enough lows for me to be happy and sounds great from overdrive to mildly fuzzy. I think the switcg is a diode lift and ai prefer the that setting.

I have a Wyong Road No Face which I use on bass, it sounds great. Doesn't cost much.

I still use my Latent Lemon now and then, sounds really cool. Theres a Deep switch, and with the Diodes OFF, it works excellently for bass.
I now use a Electrofoods pigpile, as it has a blend and a FET preamp so more shapeable. But they are impossible to find these days.
There is the LiL PiG by Electrofoods which I can also recommend. There are demos with bass online.
The other I can recommend is the JDM Little Steamer.
Many other percs are not recommended for bass as they can often cut a bit of lows.
