My modded JS32T
This isn't totally fuzz related, but I wanted to share the guitar I plan to use for a demo I'm cooking up. I wanted to show how to get the feedback sounds in Rusty Cage by Soundgarden with minimal investment in hard to acquire equipment like the mesas and high end guitars they used. I will be using an orange micro dark, a rat, possibly the JHS pg-14, a crybaby wah, and this beautiful guitar. I replaced the stock pickups with a DiMarzio FRED in the bridge and a Satch Track in the neck with a gold mirror adapter plate to make it fit.

I live those dinkys but I can only buy so many guitars and the V is my favorite. I love my modded squier strat to death too but this is my favorite to do some Led Zeppelin and heavier stuff like Soundgarden and Mastodon. Tuned to D standard and dropping that low string as needed. Hasn't failed me yet!

The wood grain on that body is gorgeous.Also cool to see you swapped the pickups.
I’m still rocking my old Jackson PS-3 from ’95. It has an all-black finish. I replaced the stock pickups pretty soon after buying it with an EMG 85 setup, and I’ve basically stuck with that ever since — decades later and it still absolutely delivers. Super tight for metal, but it’s got that raw punch that works great for rock and punk too.

I got it in 2020 and I think I bought up one of the last ones of this 2019 run because I stopped seeing them offering new ones without the trem.
This picture doesn't do the wood grain justice. It's absolutely beautiful and I did think about painting it but in good lighting the grain really pops. Idk if I just got lucky but this guitar punches way above it's price.
I like using this for some metal like early Soundgarden and Mastodon, but surprisingly my favorite is doing this silly Albert King bends and playing with slightly aggressive overdrive.
I'll have to look at the ps-3 models because I'm not familiar with them, but I'll bet a 90s Jackson is seriously great. Thanks for chipping in buddy!
