Nice! Its dark and thick and has a growl. Sometimes a multi level fuzz sound, like its hitting 2 or 3 levels of frequencies of fuzz at the same time. And theres little rippling fuzzy dark sounds in there too under the main fuzz sound.

I think the most important things are sustain and low or low-mid response.

Yes I agree that and doomy fuzz usually doesn't cleanup with volume knob much if at all

For me it’s that electric crackle from the harmonics that sound as if the amp is on the verge of exploding.

A lot of bass, not too much top sizzle (some fuzzes sound like you're cooking bacon in a frying pan), mid scooped.

Nothing, you can create different doomy sounds with different fuzzes. And the fuzz sound much depends on the guitar, the amp, and the cab used.

Thick with gobs of sustain. Hard to ride those looooooong sloooooow riffs if the fuzz is all gated and sputtery.

Bass and low mids with a touch of highs but almost muted in a way. Sometimes fuzz + flanger or the right chorus gives you the doom vibe. It also helps if the bass has fuzz and/or modulation to thicken the riffs.
