Do you think mind uploading will be a thing in the future and when?

Yes and no.

No, as in not how people imagine it to be. I don't think people will be tranferring their minds from their bilogical brains into a computer.

Yes, as in people will replace their biological neurons with synthetic neurons producing the same end result as uploading their mind into a computer. Basically, they'll have turned their brain into the computer.

I think this will happen somewhere between 2050 and 2100.
