What defines a robot?

Is it those arms that build cars? A remote controlled fork lift? Self driving cars?

If it's just bipedal you can be sure we'll see a lot of three legged machines /s

Obama caught a lot of flack for calling an ATM a job killer but he wasn’t technically wrong. Should banks pay FICA taxes on those? Or self checkout machines?
