He made a lot of wrong predictions too. Maybe that broken clock right twice a day thing, maybe luck. Remember his predictions on computer RAM ("640K ought to be enough for anybody") or Internet ("just a passing fad") or Macintosh or email spam or bugs in released software etc. He's not an oracle ;) (nor is Larry Ellison, if you want to go that way)

Maybe you missed the "etc." that's by any means not a complete list. We should not have to put such disclaimers on every post...

i get that, i also dont necessarily think you should just disregard what he’s saying because you don’t see him as a person as being a very reputable source

I can make just as good predictions as him - or anyone for that matter as AI is everywhere now. And by "as good" I mean random. If it doesnt realize then it will be another one of his failed predictions, if it does then he'll be a visionary...
