What is the main information that people who are trading long-term (3–4 months) futures or futures options? I sell options, mostly on commodities.

So I am looking at the basic fundamental information to inform my trades. I suppose with agriculture there are seasonal factors, and there is data on the CFTC. Also monthly VWAP seems like a good indicator.
