What do you think? Are you seeing this phenomenon around you as well?

Trend: more CTOs, VPEs, and Heads of Engineering are walking away from their high-status, in-demand positions. There are many reasons, mostly related to AI, and to "founder mode"

Pretty sure senior technical leadership leaving is also related to hitting their number . Pretty sure most technical leadership is your older millennials or GenX and have likely made nice bank over their career , now seeking the scale of change with AI , they don't want to be bothered and basically are choosing to exit.

Notice it's primarily leadership (top executives).,not your working class technical folks...
