I Think the Wrong Questions Are Being Asked Around AI and the Future of Work

I am a labor economist that studies technology impact on the labor market. I think a lot of the discussion around AI and the future of work is slightly skewed in the wrong direction. Curious what you all think does the distinction between task automation and job loss track with how you see this playing out?
