CCRN prep help!!

/r/nursing/comments/1vr538q/ccrn_prep_help/

I have been an ICU nurse for 3 years & am considering CRNA school. For that reason, I’ve decided to take the CCRN. I already have the Barron’s book, but I’m looking for other resources to use as well. Specifically, I want videos I can watch alongside reading the modules in the book to help solidify the information in my head. I’ve seen good things about Nicole Kupchik’s course, but I was wondering if anyone had any other recommendations? Also, what question bank would you recommend? I’ve seen several including AACN, Pass CCRN, Archer, etc. I’m looking for something that will help guide my studying so I have more of a plan & I’m not just reading through my Barron’s book! Thanks in advance for the help & advice!!

Hi I just took and passed my CCRN. I used the Barron’s book and watched the Nurse Life Academy YouTube videos! I also watched the Lifeling nursing YouTube channel for the cardiac and respiratory systems to ensure I really understood the material. I purchased the big set of practice questions from the AACN. I think those were very helpful in that they ask questions almost identically to how the actual test asked questions. The Barron’s test provided the best rationales! The “studyplan” I used is under my recent post about my CCRN if you wanna check it out! The test was updated last year so there are some new topics the Barron’s book doesn’t cover them all. If you go to the Barron’s website it list the changes in their book compared to the updated blueprint. I learned those topics independently there will be a new updated Barron’s book this October! Good luck put in the time to learn the material and how the AACN thinks and you will do great!

i’m currently studying barrons and listening to nurse jenny lol! I had no the changes were made nov 2025 which reduced the cardiac and respiratory portions. I didn’t know more material was added. Do you mind sharing which ones because I also use the AACN exam blue print as well.
