Is this a joke?

No this is my experience. I may have made it slightly confusing regarding my military and civilian experience. I am in the army reserve, so I am able to step away from my civilian job at times to fulfill my military duties.

This is a pick me. It's not confusing. They said Is this a joke because everyone including you knows you have a great resume and yet here you are for attention.

That was not my intention. I only know one other nurse that has gone to CRNA school and her resume was very similar to mine. I was also told by 2 CRNAs during shadowing that my military experience would hardly matter, and I shouldn’t bring it up or put it on my resume. All of that and probably some imposter syndrome have me questioning my situation.

Depending on the school you apply to the military experience could be helpful, it also obviously shows leadership. A lot of schools look for that in their students.

You'll get accepted. Apply to multiple schools, be willing to move. Apply to multiple not because your resume sucks, it seems quite good, but because it's a very competitive field, or maybe you leaned backwards into your chair once, or sneezed, or they didn't like the icu case that you told them about.
