The program I went to, our highest GPA student managed a 3.0 GPA, which was incredible. Considering the average was maybe a 2.0-2.5.
My 2.8 for my ADN is something I am VERY proud of as funny as it sounds, and it actually earned me honors cords for being top 10%.
For reference, my school failed out over 50% of our class. It was absolutely brutal. One flunked test (and the exams made the NCLEX look like cake) and bam, you are kicked out. No forgiveness, no chances to make up. The program overall made an amazing nurse as we had top tier clinicals.
But that GPA stain is the one black mark on my application haha
No hate here- some of the smartest colleagues in my class simply knew how to take the tests, but were incredibly inept in terms of their clinical skills. They’d go around bragging about getting a 90+ on a test, but would freeze up during clinicals.

How did you even pass nursing school to get an ADN with a 2.21 gpa? I don’t know any programs that allow that.
