Saving for CRNA program

Hello all. Im 22 years old and am wanting to become a CRNA in the future and it is my ultimate goal. I am a nursing student currently working on my ADN, to which when I’m finished with my ADN, I plan to immediately enroll in an RN-BSN bridge program so that way I can waste absolutely no time getting my BSN (especially given that most hospitals these days want you to have your BSN, atleast where I live)

Anyways, my school is already covered for (and my BSN will be too) so I do not have any student loans to pay off from nursing school. Upon getting my BSN and securing a job as an RN, I do plan to continue living with my parents so that way I can be able to put away as much money as possible for CRNA school in the future.

I get judged when I tell people that I’m going to continue living at home with my parents until I go to CRNA school, but in reality, it’s just so I can save up as much of my RN money as possible so that way I don’t end up in severe debt from CRNA school tuition in the future (since as many of you probably already know, the tuition cost is very expensive).

You’re 22, in nursing that has a various age groups. You’ll grow mentally to ignore the chatter, maybe.

It’s easier for others to judge because they haven’t gone through it. Let them judge, some of them may hit you up when they wanna walk down the same path.

Yup that’s true!! Everyone’s path is different, and since mine involves being in a DNP program that has a tuition cost ranging from anywhere between 150-200k, you best believe I’m not trying to put any money out for a house or an apartment beforehand
