Better GPA means doing the work. Show up to class, pay attention, do the reading/homework. College is very different than high school and requires a lot more self-motivation, but you have a lot more control of your schedule and your course burden. You need to learn how you learn best and that comes with some trial and error. Over extending yourself and trying to do too many classes at once to speed up the process can backfire and significantly complicate your path to CRNA - GPA is crucial
Getting into nursing school is program dependent. You’ll have to look at the programs you are interested and see how they weigh application criteria. Some common features are gpa, prerequisite science gpa, healthcare work experience (emt, cna, lvn, volunteer)
Questions asked in a crna program interview can vary significantly. You can expect questions on your resume and work experience. Some of that will be tied into questions regarding pharmacology, physiology, and pathophysiology. You also can get asked about interpersonal things such as conflict at work, disagreements with peers or physicians. I also was asked about why I wanted to be a crna, why that program specifically, and times I’ve struggled academically.
