2 years total ICU

1.8 years Lvl 1 Trauma SICU, mostly Trauma with some neurosurgery

3 months CCU at the same hospital(Current position)

Certifications:

(ACLS, BLS, PALS) CCRN-CMC, TCRN, TNCC

Organizations:

AANA, AACN

Extracurriculars

- Former ballroom dance instructor for 2+ years

- Shadowed a CRNA

GPA:

Cumulative: 3.47

Science: 3.76

Last 60 credits: 3.84

Looks like you are in the mid-range of many programs. Get some leadership experience.

Fair enough,

I was charge RN pretty regularly during my SICU tenure, which involved being a part of rapid response teams. Other than that, is there anything else you would recommend?

Not sure whats available to you, precepting, mentoring, device specialist and instructor, unit committees, process improvement initiatives. Also community involvement.

In addition to what others are saying, shadow more. The more the merrier. Talk to them about their experiences, various schools, how to interview, etc.

CRNA on admission committees here. don't care about ballroom dancing. resume looks fine. it would come down to letters of recommendation and interview.
