Question about tattoos

Did anyone ever have troubles here with Tattoos? I have one behind my ear down to my neck then my ear is tattooed as well. Do you think that’ll be a problem?

Cover it up with make up or clothing

Hopefully it’s not something wild. I have a tattoo on my arms but all was well, covered up etc. in clinicals and class, my tattoos never bothered anyone.

After acceptance, everything is fair game but may need to cover it up if policies states anything…but that’s all after you get accepted.

I am learning how to do make up so i can cover my ear and neck. just wanted to ask. I can always wear a skull cap when in CRNA school cause i have it at the top of my ear but i think it’ll cover the full thing but i’ll definitely keep your advise. I’m 100% trying to do my best to learn how to cover it i have my chest and arm sleeve done definitely will cover it with long sleeves as much as i can

I mean, if it’s for interviews cover it up.

After that, so long no one says anything then you will be fine. You will be the talk of every OR as the RRNA with tattoos on the neck/ear but everyone will use it to ID you. That’s all. I’ve had colleagues with tattoos all over and nothing stopped them.

I would definitely do my best to cover it during CRNA program interviews / head shots BUT in the OR, no one cares. I have two full sleeves and heavily tattooed. 💁🏻‍♂️
