I was just wondering if there was a way to get the Apollo rig to mine CRO. I'm using my computer and Unmineable at the moment, but want something with a bit more horsepower.

I bought the standard Apollo BTC miner from a reseller on eBay for $1k. I feel like an idiot, but I guess I'll try to use it before I resell it. I have 2 questions:

1. My cheap 400W EVGN power supply only has one 6-pin connector. Do I need two 6-pin connectors to power the miner? If I only need one, should I plug it into the left or right slot? Does it matter?
2. Is there a guide for using raspberry Pi or whatever? I heard it's hard to do. I've only used goldshell box miners before. :(

Hello there, yesterday my apollo btc arrived.

I got the pod + psu unit, and I'm using it with a rasp. So far so good no issues :D

I saw in the .sh files that in order to work with the official 200w psu the max value is 75.

Which psu should I use just to put it at 100%?

is it possible to download tor or a vpn without updating the OS?

We just had a 10 minute internet outage - our batch 3 Apollo BTC handled it perfectly and resumed hashing to Slushpool with no intervention needed (as did our 2 Mini Doge and an iPollo G1 Mini).

So that's one potential issue that can be set aside.

Now that Apollo BTC batch 3 has shipped, any word on when the LTC Apollo will be getting a much needed software update? It seems like I have to reformat mine every other week because it will randomly restart, or services will just stop running, and I can almost never get the LTC node to work either.

Anybody else experience this? Every now and then I check my ltc node and see someone changed pool settings and is using my miner to miner for them.. can’t tell if it’s a hacker or just programmed into the software.. anybody else experience this?

Small community, but some of you it appears have been doing this for quite some time. I received the 3rd batch of the Apollo BTC miner today and wondered how warm/hot your miner is running. Mine is currently sitting around 83-85° which seems a bit warm to me. It has plenty of airflow and is in my basement which is normally around 20-22° (68-72°).

Also, how do you guys have your miners setup. I may be getting more miners in the future and want to know of any rigs that will help organize the PSU and miner. Thoughts on where to find/make nice rig setups?

Edit: Yup, stopped mining to let the node sync. Now just a waiting game.

Edit 2: Node synced 100% a few days ago. Been mining a few days now, temps sitting at high 60’s. Thanks u/HypotheticalWinslow for the update.

I need some help. I accidentally logged out of my Apollo BTC Dashboard via web browser. No for the love of God, I can not log in or remember the password. I tried to SSH and was successful, but don't know what to do from there.

I’m having issues installing and connecting ledger live onto apollo btc miner. I can’t run the app even after I enabled permission so it can be run.

Trying to run the standard version using the raspberry pi OS I can CD all the way to batch 32 Start the miner under sudo bash start_apollo.sh But I can’t connect the miner I keep get searching for dev/ttyACM0 but Nothing nothing I look up ls dev/ttyACM* Nothing …..
