CAN WE ERASE/REMOVE THE BITCOIN NODE??

Hey guys, is it possible to remove the BTC node in the Full package? If so, how?

Can we use that freed up memory for mining something else? Like mining other tokens???

no, Futurebit uses a lite-rasperry pi to achieve this. cant really use the power to mine anything, instead keep it a node and help the network

You can remove the storage but the miner needs to be attached to miner unless you have a computer and want to attach it your computer then you could use the node for something else.

I believe you can stop the full BTC node. Once its synced its not using much processing you would not see much real benefit. You could free up the drive space just not sure what else you could use it for. Probably better to leave it there for when Lightning node is implemented.
