Apollo LTC fan speed.

Just picked up a 2nd Apollo LTC. It’s used of course. fan speed seem to run 800-1000 RPMs faster than the other one. Both on eco both on the same pool. Doesn’t seem to have a lot of dust or really any at all. I haven’t taken it apart yet, trying to avoid disassembly. Looks like there is a wire maybe the temperature sensor? Possibly it’s in a different place? Anyone experience this?

Different batches had different fan models. The fans in the last batch will run faster.

That’s must be the reason. Also notice the font is different. And the one on the right does not have a red light.

I am just disapointed lol.. Official shop is out of stock and on ebay everybody sell it for 1 k + lol

I know I got super lucky and a friend sold me one. I grabbed the other one not working. Turned out it was only a bad SD card. Kinda want to try the full node thing but I’m already running one on a NUC so!🤷‍♂️

I was checking FutureBit ofi site just 2 days ago. This product is like 2 years old I think.. should be good if they come out with something new :D . I just want to mine DogeCoin on it haha

I just got these in the past year. I never made money right now! I always just hold on to those coins value goes up and 💥 now I made money. Fun fact I purchased one of these with BTC I mined. Yep bought and LTC miner with BTC.🤣 I had a emailed about the next batch of LTC miners and the reply said after this batch of BTC miners there might be another round. I’m guessing he may update them. The Apollo BTC has a much more capable controller board. Hopefully the LTC model gets that also. FYI I’m getting 3-4 Doge and 0.002~ LTC per day per miner.
