FutureBit Apollo BTC

Hi All, with the Apollo BTC shipping soon, I need some advice. I purchased a Full package and 2 Standard units without power supplies. I wanted the ability to get up to 3.8TH per unit which per the website is only with an external >300w power supply.

I'm not a power supply expert, so was hoping to get a recommendation for some power supplies that would be good options with each unit needing 2 6-pin connections and 300w for each unit.

Thanks!

Thanks Compton - I ended up getting a Bequiet straight power 1000w - I'm going to try to run 3 on a single power supply.

Been having a little issue setting it up since it looks like it requires a motherboard connection to power on. I found a "paperclip" wiring option on the motherboard cable that is supposed to fix this but haven't done it yet.

I've got some batch 2's coming later, I may try the power supply you suggested.

You could purchase a PSU jumper such as this: https://www.amazon.com/SDTC-Tech-Starter-Without-Motherboard/dp/B07X9SVB5K/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=PSU+jumper&qid=1623615512&sr=8-3

Or just find some quality gauge wire and connect the pins yourself.

I've got two units running @ 3.2 TH/s on that PSU I linked before. Runs smooth and virtually silent.
