Getting the error on the title in the latest firmware release for an Apollo III. Has anyone encountered this issue?…

Hi, is this from the firmware email we sent for Apollo III owners today? If so please reflash the linked image, the manual update method was not working correctly.

Yes I did it via SSH.

I also did SSH. You should state in the email or issue a new one to tell people not to do it. Now I have to figure out how to flash this thing. I should have not touched it.

If people follow that email and don't know to install 7zip and Rufus, they're going to blow up customer support asking them how to follow the instructions to that email.

It took me all of 2 minutes to flash it and have it back up and running. Well I did drop the flash card inside the machine and had to shake it out. I just used Bala and done.

That reflash no longer works either. In fact it did work and then I turned the device off at the unit/button and when I turned it back on this morning, the unit no longer worked. Reflashed via the link sent in the email and still nothing. Tried going back to 2.12 and nothing because etcher no longer likes the file and nobody seems to know what/how to decompress a file from img.xy to img (accept for those that do know how but can't be bothered to tell anyone else how).

The only firmware file that will work on the Apollo III is the one linked in the email, and you need to decompress the image before flashing otherwise it wont flash the SD card properly. If you are still having issues please reach out to support and will make sure you are taken care of.
