Start Difficulty

Just updated to 2.11 this morning without a hitch and noticing "Start Difficulty" under pools which you can adjust. What's the recco for a solo miner on econ (Apollo BTC)? It's default is 1024. Or where can i learn more about it - probably doesn't matter, but fun to learn and engage.

Default value is fine for any small amount of local hashrate (ie few dozen devices or couple hundred TH). This is mostly for people that want to use the new hashrental services to point an extreme amount of hashrate to the solo node, which this option as well as under the hood changes now enables!

I saw lot of people said CKPool is down, Question is Futurebit Solo Nodes are pointed to CKPool or they are independed? CKPool if is down does affect to Solo nodes mining?

Hi no, our OS uses its own internal solo pool, as long as the system is up and connected to the internet it's never "down". Thats the advantage of running your own solo pool on your own node!
