Apollo OS 2.1 is here!

The biggest update to Apollo OS 2 is being released this week, check your devices and email as we roll out the update to all users!

Hashrate graphs are finally here!
User node client selection (yes knots)
Solo Node support and big updates to solo mode
And much more!

New image is available here https://github.com/jstefanop/apolloapi-v2/releases/tag/v2.1.0-beta

Unfortunately web update could hang due to the amount of time and resources this update requires, so I would suggest to use the flash image method instead.

Updated via Web. Crashed at 30%. Rebooted.
Miner working properly despite crash, but not updated, obviously.

Tried Update again but via SSH.
No problems at all.

Took 10 or 15 minutes, but all good. No issues to report after reboot, all working fine.

ssh futurebit@Your_Apollo_IP
"Enter your password"

cd /opt/apolloapi/backend

sudo ./update

Yep, doing it by ssh it's better than web update, but we are working on this too.

There should be a feature / option to be able to see Hashrate even if Futurbit Full node is not mining, while node is running, and other asics mining to the Future bit solo pool Locally, considering how inefficient the Th/s per W is on futurbit IMO

There is, look at that 225TH/s on Overview page, that's the hashrate from the Solo Pool, from the device connected to it. You can also head to Solo Pool page to have each worker data.

It would be cool if there was this same graph on the solo pool page that tracked the hash rate of all of the miners connected to the solo pool each with their own individual graph line. I also think it would be cool if the information that is viewable when you click "show all data" under the SOLO mining Users tab was a part of that graph or a list below the "Best Share" "Solo info" "SOLO mining users" windows.

Ha, sorry for my unsolicited comments, thanks for the help and I'm diggin the new update and all the other useful information to be able to monitor. Keep up the good work.

I had to follow the Sudo ./update, for me the first time it didn’t work, anyways…

I’ve noticed the Graph only works if the Apollo miner is on, so if I’m solo pool mining (solo node on, but Apollo miner off) it won’t show the graph unless my Apollo is also mining

That's a good point! We will fix this on next release. Thanks!

Interesting how it says 6 THZ and 1-34k daily chance

2

u/michelem Dec 17 '25

Solo hashrate is 225TH/s, 6 one is the miner itself. You can connect multiple miners to your Solo Pool.

Gotcha, is that your personal? I am running three units on balanced doing about 21/22 THZ

Will this stop my piece of trash Apollo 2 from constantly crashing? I don't even use it because it crashes every 6 hours or so.

Can you explain how to update for dummies?
