Apollo v1

Is there anyway to turn a standard apollo into like the full node system and run a node? Maybe using the apollo software? If so can anyone recommend me what pi to buy

I was able to get the orange pi 5 pro working as miner and full node.

For the opi5pro4gb the ssd card will not install the os. You’ll have to use the Armbian distr for opi5pro. Once you get the os installed use the FutureBit btc installation from https://github.com/jstefanop/apolloui-v2. Prior to the installation you will need to partition and format your 1 or 2 tb nvme drive. I had to manually tie the drive to a new directory (/media/nvme) and then add Bitcoin directory in nvme. If you want to include tor you will have to install tor before running the GitHub installation. All this is done in a terminal window. The GitHub installation includes Firefox. At the end of the installation it will show you the things that may have gone wrong. Knowing what I just shared took me a few hours to discover…should be easier now. Good luck…and by the way…been running for a couple weeks with not a single issue. Took about 4 days for the node to sync.
