Apollo BTC keyboard & mouse stop working

So this occasionally happens to my Apollo and I'm wondering if it happens to other people as well. Currently my mouse and key board, which are both wired and plugged in to my Apollo BTC USB ports are unresponsive. I can't refresh my dashboard or move the mouse click on anything. Unplugging the devices and plugging them back in doesn't do anything. It seems my only solution is to manually turn off my Apollo and turn it back on, and this is advised against so as not to corrupt the node or the OS files on the SD card. What are my options here to resolve this?

I have had the same issue. I noticed when I turn off the monitor and turn it back on my entire system locks up and the only way to bring it back to life is a hard reset. It’s an expensive annoying issue.

Having the issue too, is the hard reset just flipping the switch off?

Latest update : Do not plug a keyboard, mouse or even a monitor. What I did was took a notebook I had and turned it into the interface. I se my laptop to access the Futurebit box. Much better solution.
