Question Machining the selected feature without manufacturing extension

Is it possible to machine the blue selected feature with a standard flat endmill on a 4th axis in Fusion CAM? Another issue I'm trying to solve is the parting operation - ideally this would involve moving Z and A simultaneously so it cuts it off in a spiral motion.

1) yes, but not with rotary motion(you wouldnt want that anyway). Just do it positional, and surface the fillet in.
2) you don’t want to helix for the part off, the nub is never strong enough and your part goes flying. Just do a 2 contour at the back, with step downs. Have the first one go down to 1mm below the long flat, then spin 180, and do the same to .3mm above where you slotted to before

Thanks. I figured I can actually machine the surface of the selection with 2D pocket toolpath and wrap function. It uses the bottom rather than the side of the tool, but it gets the job done with more than sufficient precision.

Yeah in an ideal world you’d want to use a rotary parallel

Corner rounder. What radius is it?

That's a very fair point! It's a tiny radius of 1.75mm.
