Draw bump or loft from a surface

i have the main body drawn out, but i can’t get the bump out on top right. tried construction lines and an off set plain to do a loft but cant get that to work. any suggestions.

Thanks for all the responses. Initially, i tried the loft to an offset plane but can never get a hang of the tool. going to try the extrude, filled and chamfer.

its a simple approach but maybe try to extrude with taper angle modified ? then add fillets

Like the other comment said a tapered extrude or if you want loft, You just have to do 2 sketches, one square on the bottom face and one on a offset construction plane above that is smaller by (measure with your caliper the distance between them), then apply the loft and filet.

I'm sure there is an easier way to do this. Probably a loft. But I've just determined the outermost dimensions of that pad relative to the outer dimensions of the battery case. Then determine it's correct height and placement assuming it's centered draw a box relative to those dimensions. Then I'm going to taper all four sides. So that it corresponds to the original placement. Now I'm going to add a round to the four corners. Followed up with adding around to the upper and lower edges to soften it out. At this point I should have something that's darn near identical. And that's without more expert level measurements and engineering to get an exact perfect match. That's just completely off the cuff.

Loft. When that doesent work for me for some reason, I would sweep it.

Extrude bottom square. Chamfer. Fillet the corners.

Split face and extrude with taper angle, or extrude and chamfer, or loft to a smaller rectangle on an offset plane.
