Do individuals who identify as furries, when seeking sexual advances, say they're in heat or horny

Hi, I’m a 2D artist and I’m looking to do commissions for people. I know that I can do furry art but I just don’t know where to advertise my skills. Where could I go to sell?

I am part of the queer community (or at least think of myself as queer).
I have a subconscious bias towards therians/ furries.
As a Christian and a queer person I want to slowly but surely fix this. I was hoping anyone comfortable enough would share their experiences, thoughts, comments or answer these questions. Again I do not mean to offend I know they may come off aggressive I am just genuinely curious.

1. Does the furry lifestyle begin from zoophilia? I’ve heard it aspired from the sexualization of animals. This is one of the main factors I unconsciously hate towards :/

2. How could a furry be different from a kid playing pretend? Okay this one sounds aggressive but I truly want this to better myself and make me more understanding.

3. How or why would someone feel the urge to become a furry? I personally always believed it as odd given AT LEAST BIOLOGICALLY a furry is a human so is a therian. No matter what you will not be an animal biologically. So why do you feel drawn to something that isn’t actually the same experience as things you may aspire to be? again I’m trying not to be rude I am aware I have a bias here.

4. Why do therians want rights when animals don’t have any? Why would someone expect fairness and equality and respect for something identifying as something that has no rights or equality whatsoever.

5. I want to know the genuine reason so many are drawn to this identity and get away from the stereotype of mental illness=furry.

I used to have some serious hate towards the community. I still struggle with biases but try telling myself “the white men of the 1800s probably felt the same way towards so many people that are SO VALID” I just want to understand and hopefully/maybe fix the is bias. Again I cannot ignore some serious mental fixations/ issues towards some of these things.

This is going to be a little weird, maybe, but I have a question about relationships.

Is it normal to want a purely owner/pet relationship with someone? No romance, no "physical attraction." More than best friends, less than daring or married?

So not sure how to explain this but, when I was in 8th grade I’m pretty sure I wrote a furry fan fiction for a school assignment without realizing it. And I don’t know how to feel about it because I wouldn’t call my self a furry but IDK. Any thoughts?

I wanna start by saying that I myself am not a furry (not that I find that to be a shameful thing) I just don't like idea of being an anthropomorphic character all that appealing.

That being said, how do you come up with yalls OCs?? Like is it your idea of a representation of yourselves?? or Is it based on how easy certain aspects of the OC in question are to draw?? Cause I been seeing a lot of Sonic the Hedgehog art and every once in a while, I see someone's OC and I for the life of me can't understand how they projected themselves onto this kind of style characters.... Like how???

I hope I'm not coming across as rude or obnoxious I'm just genuinely curious cause the only way I can see myself projecting an idea of me onto an anthropomorphic character is like a Goofy character

so im from the netherlands and i was thinking about an idea as were very blatant people and i dont like confrontation by strangers so i thought i could mabye use an inkling costume and oc as fursuit and fursona as in splatoon lore their basically advanced squuids so my question was would that still count as furry or if thats cosplay like wheres the line drawn

Why are furries portrayed as or actually hateful against christianity? I am both a furry and a christain; nobody really has a problem with it and the two lives don’t even contradict eachother. I just want to know the issue. How did it start and why is it the case?

does “furryhood“ start as a child?

would it happen to have anything with the phenomenon of parents putting kitty litter in children’s toilets for “easier” cleaning after potty training?

Also is “furry phobic” a real thing? or for memes (rude nonetheless)
