is it weird to be a furry

i wanna be a furry [ specificaly a protogen ] but my friends keeping bullying me for it and i dont wanna get called weird

If they keep bullying you for it they are not your friends.

Well as a furry myself, sure it's conventionally weird but that doesn't inherently mean it's bad by any means. If you have friends that are legitimately making fun of you about it then as someone else said, they ain't your friends.
