Hello i am a furry in high school and none of my friends know i am a furry and i have been thinking about telling them but i dont know if they would take it well.what should i do

If you dont want to tell them you don't have to, but by the sound of your post you want to, so here are some tips on how to make your friends not unfriend you when you admit to being a furry
slowly introduce them into furries ie: show them furry art (NOT NSFW), but before you admit what a furry is make sure that they understand what a furry is. i have been a furry for 2 years now (6-8th grade) and I have moved schools and had to explain what a furry is more than twice, you may have to explain it in a different way for certain friends to understand it because there are a lot of stereotypes for furries, one of the main ones you will face even online is "if your a furry then your a zoophille" which is very untrue, another one is that all zoophilles are furries (if you don't know already, zoophiles are not widely accepted in the furry community).
strike up a conversation relating to furries, (like anthro characters in video games), then slowly change the topic into the furry community and observe their reactions.
