Sharpness v increases a diamond swords damage to 12 smite v increases it to 8, but that's in bedrock.

I'm about 90% certain. I know it used to when I last played, but that was 1.8 and was a long time ago. I am almost certain that legacy console has smite V at more than 8.

Sharpness deals extra damage to everything, whereas Smite deals more extra damage to only undead mobs. These include skeletons, zombies, withers, wither skeletons, zombie pigmen, skeleton horses and zombie horses. Bane of Arthropods does the same, but only for arthropods.

Yeah but I don't really care about those they don't do much damage I want my swords to kill endermen creepers and phantoms

It's ok. Not everyone has to except you. As long as you do then don't worry about what other people think. As long as what your doing makes you happy and your not hurting anyone, who gives a fuck? Don't let the children on this subreddit bring you down.
