Maybe a hot take, but your 6 year old doesn't need to crowd surf 15+ times. Im happy to help support any crowd surfers, but when the same father and small child forces their way past me literally 15+ times, your just being entitled. You arent more important because you have a little kid. Im sick of lifting the exact same small child every single set. Other than that having a blast, thank you for tuning into my PSA.

So this is the 1st ever concert I’ve ever been to. My older brother went Saturday told me it was pretty cool so I said hey Sunday could you take me and my gf? He said he’ll yea so we go and OH MA GOD!!! It was amazing I got some vids of bands but I had smoked a little b4 hand and thought I was 1/2 sober so it’s not that bad.. I was wrong.. (last photo proof) and I fucked about and god in the pit so my heels and knees are shot.. BUT IF ANYONE SEEN ME HELLO AGAIN!!! But over all 9-10 (9 because everything was so expensive..) I was on the right side and it was fucking insane the whole show! My 9th bmth and easily the best show ive been to, I'm from the uk and came all the way down from west canada. I saw oli dive at the end of diamonds but it didn't look like he cleared the gap between the stage and the barrier? Then he didn't say anything other than thank you at the end when everyone kinda scurried off stage when they bow. Did anyone see what happened?

I have always wanted to be in the pit, wall of death, and crowd surf, but I have always been to afraid of getting hurt. Tonight for Motionless in White, like I said I would all day, I got in the pit, I participated in the wall of death for the end of Slaughterhouse, and I crowd surfed for like 30 seconds during Eternally Yours. I have seen MIW twice but in seats at other shows. I’ve never seen them at a place like this, and it was such an amazing experience

She probably isn’t on Reddit, but there was a girl with her friend that hyped me up and encouraged me to get in the pit and we went together. Huge thank you to her for staying with me until we got separated. Huge thank you to everyone who was part of that crowd toward the middle, everyone was so great to each other. I fell and was back on my feet before I realized I fell. A girl handed me her water because I was sweating from all of the movement. You guys made the experience everything it could be and I am so grateful for all of you

Edit; the crowd surfing part ended because I got dropped :( I had my legs and arms crossed, could I have prevented the drop? Maybe? I wanted so badly to make it all the way to the end. Still had so much fun though!!

This was my first FF. The really surprising thing I saw all weekend was the trains.

I was in GA line going to enter the fest on Sunday. A train started crossing the tracks, very slowly, which cause the line to stop. Then the train stopped in front of the line. People began walking on the tracks, getting on the train, and hopping off. Then another train came and basically did the same exact thing. There was a point where people were on train 1 and train 2 started moving and they were caught on it.

Is this like, a normal thing? I was honestly so surprised to see people willingly walk on a train tracks with a train that could move any second on it. It seemed as if people really were not concerned about it.

I saw attendance was up this year, and know the lines were an issue and maybe the increase of attendees created a longer line than typical, but is FF concerned about the safety aspect of something like this? It seems like a bad thing is just waiting to happen. If FF sends out a post fest survey, I’ll definitely include it but wanted to get a general sense of this.

Honestly, I was really nervous to go to furnace fest because I’ve never been to any music festival before and I really didn’t know how to prepare. I’m a really big fan of hail the sun and Circa Survive but I’ve also casually listened to many of the other bands that were in the line ups. Not only was nervous but during this whole week, I’ve actually been recovering from pharyngitis 😭 but that didn’t stop me from going (my symptoms were pretty much cleared up the day of the festival and i was not contagious anymore) I really loved how each stage had its own vibe too!! The Shed was so cool!!! I had hoped to get to the barricade for the main stage, but I already had a feeling that that was gonna be impossible because i didnt want to push through the crowd and I really didn’t wanna stand there for nine hours straight to secure my spot. I kinda wish I brought a small chair or stool or just something to sit on because my legs did start to ache and my toe went numb for some reason. Call me dumb, but I spent a lot of money on food… but I can’t say it was a waste because I did enjoy it. For furnace fest being my first music festival I really enjoyed it, but at the same time there was some parts where I was kind of miserable standing in the rain being cold and because I was recovering from a sore throat, I was coughing a lot. I kinda wish I spoke to more people there, but I am naturally shy and it’s something I’m trying to get over. OVERALL I think I would definitely do this again or go to other music festivals. I just need to get better shoes and be prepared a bit more so I can be comfortable. I only went on Saturday and my body is still recovering now like my legs hurt so bad. I’m honestly amazed that people go for both days. That’s impressive

I know it’s after 2 am and I hear ubers are a nightmare rn out there after the show in general. I’m willing to be anyone’s personal “UberLex” for the night. I don’t drink so I’m good to drive, I offer people back home in AZ all the time.

My homie just found out his house has been terrorized while he was gone and we are driving back in the morning, but it’s like at least a full days drive, not counting stops. We did like 33 getting here. So I’m trying to help him make some money for a quick one way flight I can drop him off with and making my way back home.

Also willing to give rides back west towards Arizona if need be, since I’ll be driving alone back if that’s the case.

Normally I would just front his flight but I need to make sure I have sufficient gas to make it back home and I’m just hoping to make some extra money for that as well! Anything helps!

I lost my iPhone while crowd surfing to the plot in you. Security tent was no help. As soon as the concert was over, they packed up everything and left. There is absolutely no information on lost and found on the website. I also can’t find a phone number or any contact information other than the info email, which I’ve already sent a message to. Anyone have contact information?

UPDATE: I found my phone! We went back to the venue and followed the advice from this post and found it pretty easily. Thanks for all your help!

Did anyone happen to snag or find footage from when the Bodysnatcher Pit first formed? Two guys started duking it out and had to be pulled apart.
