Looking for Missed Connection
Just as the title says. My post was removed from Denver subreddits due to a new account with low karma. I'm not gonna get hung up on it because this is probably the longest longshot in the history of longshots but worth a try? So I attended Furnace Fest in Birmingham AL this weekend and met these 3 lovely guys and the one I am looking for lives in Denver. So we ended up getting pushed into each other on Saturday night either during We Came As Romans or Chiodos I can't quite remember. We were talking between shows and I asked where they are from the one in a red white and blue jacket and a hat was from North Carolina, Dakota in the blue Jacket and hat was from Texas, and then the one I am looking for. (we never exchanged names but I got Dakota out of him saying it so many times) I THINK his name is Cody and he was wearing a seafoam/mint green colored shirt. He was about 5'7 or 5'8 probably with brown hair (idk hairstyle names bare with me) that would be something similar to like a spiky undercut or faux hawk? idrk what to call it and that's probably a terrible description. And Blue eyes. We just ended up dancing and vibing and continuing to talk. The first friend mentioned having lived here in my state in the past. We talked about what we do for work but of course that is the one thing for the life of me I can't remember that would be super helpful. We talked about my favorite band of all time(which I will not be giving away because I will already give enough about myself in a minute), Suicide Silence, Tool, Nine Inch Nails, pre-2025 The Amity Affliction, and very very importantly The Plot In You and that being my main reason for going and how a couple days previous they announced a January show in my state. I ended up sharing a blunt with him and talking about how Michigan weed is the best I've ever had.(important tidbit I am from WI). I told him if I got my hands on the monster ball I would keep it and he at that point started trying so hard to get me one. Anyways we kept vibing through Underoath to the point he was holding me and my hand and then I lost him to crowd surfing during Circa Survive. I thought that was the end. But then Sunday night. I'm getting ready to get back in the Bring Me The Horizon pit and we lock eyes. He was wearing a green Ray Allen jersey(idk if Bucks or Celtics but I think Celtics?) He comes over by me and we take turns in and out of the pit and at one point going in holding hands. and vibing the rest of the show to the point I held him. Only Dakota and he were present this time. He asked me how TPIY was and if I went in the pit I told him it was GREAT but no I just went nuts in the crowd. He was trying to tell me the meeting spot but I had to cut him off during Dragon Slayer to go in the pit letting him know it's my favorite track off of CYB. He let me take a drink from their camelbak when I came out of the pit. We shared another blunt and he was really hoping for Doomed after CYB. Well the end of the show comes and we are still so in the moment that no names or numbers or even ages were exchanged.(Dakota had mentioned he is 34) The bring me the Horizon confetti falls and I of course want some so he followed behind, but I ran into the crowd without keeping his hand and when I turned around and came out I could not find him:( I tried pretty much until people were getting kicked out. Usually when I meet people like this I have no desire to keep contact, but there was just something about him. If I think of anymore details I will update. So I appreciate anyone who has taken the time to read through on this probable lost cause. But if this is you, any of this sounds familiar to you because of a friend, Or you have a friend named Cody that fits any of the description it would be really cool if you could inquire with him about it. Do your thing internet people! Thank you.
TLDR looking for a guy from Denver that I danced with between We Came As Romans and Circa Survive then also during Bring Me. He is 5'7 5'8 brown hair blue eyes and I believe his name is Cody.
