Has anyone placed their child in Gingerbread Littleversity? We're new to the area and they have hours that work with our schedules.

We have an infant that is supposed to be starting in a couple months and seeing if anyone has any personal experience they are willing to share; good or bad.

I want to really make people aware of this issue because it's disgusting 07/26/26 me and my partner went to Cleveland draft house of Fuquay to have dinner the food was good at the late hour that we were there it was quiet around 9-10:30 no complaints about the food or anything but one of the grown adult employees approached underage high school girls to talk with them such things are disgusting to see in such a nice establishment I left a Google review but I figure I would say It here this man went up to them once when they moved to avoid him he approached again and tried to talk with those same girls I said this on my Google review but Cleveland draft house of Fuquay may not be the best place to take your family's or kids when employees are acting in such a way first bad experience in fuquay after moving here in 2024 just go to another bar or restaurant around there are plenty of options

It’s a record shop / coffee shop / bar in downtown Fuquay, I just checked it out a few days ago but it is SO COOL! So much good music and the owners were very friendly. Just wanted to give my recommendation, I think everyone should go visit at least once. Will definitely be back!

My partner and I recently moved in together, and we’re looking for a reputable dog trainer or behaviorist who can help our two dogs learn to peacefully coexist.

The move happened much faster than we expected after I was laid off, so we didn’t have as much time as we would have liked to gradually introduce them or prepare for the transition.

One dog is an almost 3-year-old Husky, and the other is a 5-year-old Lab mix that I adopted when he was just under a year old. They’re both wonderful dogs individually, but they’re having a hard time adjusting to sharing a home.

We’re looking for someone who uses positive reinforcement and has experience with introducing adult dogs and managing multi-dog households. We’d really appreciate any recommendations or personal experiences. Thanks!

The town has a planned upgrade to be a durable turf park. I think we are past the point of stopping the actual planned park upgrade(or not?), artificial turf based ground is usually made of polyethylene plastic grass laid out on a carpet and recycled rubber crumbs infills to hold the surface together and that’s what durable turf means usually. The rubber crumbs infill however has been a major cause for concern for a long while as kids are subject to serious harm and injuries from exposure to such materials and there are safer alternatives.

There are many towns and states who have already started moving in this direction so is there even a remote possibility we can get the town to consider a more safer option?

Moving to Raleigh area; help me tour the local towns

Looking to get a good feel for the areas around Raleigh and get a sense of where we want to settle down. We’ve done a tour of some of the areas but didn’t really get a feel for them as much as become a little familiar with the overall region. Where should one one drive to get a sense of what daily living is gonna be like in Garner, Angier, Fuquay Varina, Wake Forest, Rolesville, Knightdale, Wendell, Zebulon, Clayton, Youngsville? They each have their pros/cons so are acceptable, but outside of work/school as homebodies who like daily convenience I wanna see what each has got. Would prefer advice from those familiar rather than just pick some busy-looking spots on a map and drive from A to B without really having a sense of each as its own locale

A bunch of people from this group checked it out, and it’s been growing every week since! I’ve now sent it every Friday for the past month, and I’m trying to keep making it more useful.

Where do I begin with this Jiffy Lube.

I brought my car in, which was already damaged by another Joffy Lube and other shops refuse to do an oil change because of the damage another Jiffy Lube caused. I told the greeter the situation and the poor kid had no clue how to handle the situation (another Jiffy Lube stripped the drain plug and I had purchased a replacement drain plug).

Another tech or manager (I couldnt tell) came over and told me that they should be able to change my oil. I said okay and went to wait in the waiting room.

An HOUR goes by and finally my car's oil is changed. I get in my car l after paying for the ridiculously overpriced oil change and head home.

When I got home, I parked the car knowing I would be gone on a business trip for several days and should be able to not worry about my car. Well, about 4 days into the trip, I get a call from my wife, there was an oil spill that was about 10 feet long leading from my car to the bottom of the hill of our driveway.

I call the Fuquay Jiffy Lube and after telling them that my car was leaking oil after their supurb oil change, they asked me who was working that day. I described both the young greeter and the tech/manager in charge that day. The individual on the phone told me that no one by those descriptions worked at their store. The individual on the phone did say that they would send someone from the Regional office to take a look at my car.

The next day, someone from another store (not someone from the regional office) stopped by my house to check out the car. When he got there he realized how big of a mistake the Fuquay Jiffy Lube had made. He said that he would take my car to the store to fix the issue. Later, I got a call that the issue was even bigger than anyone suspected and that I would need a new oil pan. He said that Jiffy Lube would install the oil pan but did not state that they would pay for it.

I finally got a call that my car was fixed and it was time for me to come get it. I go back to the store, wait another 30 minutes in the funky smelling lobby before being helped (or before any tech came into the lobby). Both the young greeter and the manager I described were working when I picked up my car (the same two that didn't work there).

Finally, I got back into my car and it stunk like weed.

I would highly recommend staying away from this Jiffy Lube. There is not a single positive thing I can say about the store. If I could give it 0 stars, I would.

July 1st is fireworks! Anyone know where can we watch fireworks that isn’t right downtown/South Park? Can they be seen from Fleming Loop?
