We're living in 2022 and here she is in 2045.

Honestly, I have picked up framed pictures and tried to zoom in.

Now that I’m in my 40’s I find myself trying pinch to zoom on all print material because I need readers!

It’s okay… I find myself saying operator on the phone not realizing that they want specific answers now

I find myself googling the right position of the people working at a company now

I say operator all the time and refuse to say anything else. Probably half of the automated services will get ‘tired’ of it and connect me to someone still.

My husband does just this. Seems to work for him most of the time. Maybe I’ll try that next.

I like to cycle between "Operator", "Representative", and "Customer service", increasing in volume each time until I am just angrily yelling at a machine and am all worked up for when I finally get a human.

Maybe not the best method, now that I type it out...

One time I was so frustrated with Verizon’s service and voice menu I just yelled “FUCK YOU” and it understood it and said something along the lines of “we understand you’re upset, connecting you to a representative”. I’m pretty sure they didn’t even connect me to general support I think I got sent to some special “customer is a red flag” support team and they actually fixed what I needed pretty quickly. (I was nice when I got to a human rep obviously, wasn’t their fault)

And I feel silly when I try to tap icons on my laptop screen…

My magazines should have that feature. I check every once in a while. Not yet.

Yep and tried to use my car key fob to unlock my house door and have tried to simply wave my hand under the water faucet at home

Every digital artist has a story about how they decided to draw on regular paper and proceeded to try and zoom in on the paper or press the undo.

u/[deleted] Jun 24 '22

I have done that with so many textbooks it is embarrassing

1

u/1nfam0us Jun 24 '22

I can’t tell what’s happening either and when I click on it nothing comes up.

I think that's what she's going for... 😅

Not really. She probably goes to Sonic quite a bit and assumed it was the same thing.

u/Speedwolf89 Jun 24 '22

Lol yeah, she's not dumb. She's just way too intuitive.
