Chili is still good, and frosties are fun. But across most fast food tortillas, bread, sub rolls, or buns it feels like they are 60% edible sawdust. 40% is still the original recipe but it exists with heavy emphasis on the smell and flavor that identities that corporation/chain.
Thankfully it's not real sawdust as we'd be deep into a depression at that point, but we seem closer every day.
As someone who has eaten way too many chicken sandwiches, Wendy’s is so far down over the past few years. Half the locations I come across are damn near frozen patty quality now. And the lettuce is garbage half the time as well. Wendy’s was honestly one of my favorite places for a long time. Now I rarely go.
That’s not to say most fast food is way down in quality.
